  • Maintain a simple routine
  • Stay hydrated, eat right, and exercise regularly
  • Create a comfy space for yourself at home- spend at least 15 minutes there daily – no electronics allowed
  • Spend time outdoors daily – on a walk. sitting in the sun, hiking, etc.
  • Give yourself grace – Give yourself – Respect, Admiration, Courtesy, Empathy
  • Set aside time in every day for focused breathing – 4 seconds in – 4 seconds hold – 4 seconds out
  • Take care of yourself – take a nap and give yourself a break from electronics
  •  Explore  Languages, Music, Art, Dance, and Theatre – Find your passion
  • Don’t over commit yourself – You are so much more than your accomplishments
  • Focus on what is good

  • Stay busy at school with Student Council, Peer Tutoring, Teacher-Aide
  • Enroll in extra-curricular activities: sports, band, orchestra, theatre – whatever your pick
  • Draw and doodle (on-topic) while taking notes in class to maintain interest
  • Live soul first always valuing your well-being over your accomplishments.
  • Find a safe place at school where you can take a break if needed – Make sure your teachers are aware
  • Keep a well-being journal and reflect on your entries monthly – This will help you evaluate and monitor your emotions
  • Always keep a fidget handy
  • Perform an act of service daily. Opening the door for students, helping someone in the hall, or advocating for someone kindly
  • Recap school events daily with a parent or loved one
  • Do something you love doing every day
